KICK OFF MEETING “HER SPORT”

Barcelona, Spain | February 16, 2025

A partnership meeting for the launch of the project “Her Sport” was held in Barcelona on February 14, 15 and 16, aimed at developing and enhancing the sports skills of girls aged 13 to 17 who live in marginalized, remote, or rural areas.

The project promotes equal opportunities for all, enabling girls, among other things, to have transportation from their place of residence to the facility where they train. The organizations partnering in the “Her Sport” project include Club Pitch & Putt Barcelona Teia from Spain, Innoved from Greece, Women Sports Society from Serbia, and Bul from Bulgaria. During the meeting, future project activities, working methodologies, and the tasks that partners will implement were presented. The goal of the project, which will be realized over the next two years in Serbia, Spain, Bulgaria, and Greece, is to help young women develop their bodies, strength, endurance, and coordination through sports, as well as important social, communication, psychological, and emotional skills. Sports will
provide them with a safe environment where they can gain self-esteem, express themselves, and escape from the everyday challenges they face.
This project has the potential to significantly impact the lives of girls in marginalized communities, allowing them to integrate into society and develop their potential through sports.
